Here's my coverage for the 4th Annual Eat Sleep Race event in North, NJ. There was a lot of clean cars as well as Daigo Saito's Winning Formula D: Round 4 car making an appearance. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay for the whole event, I was only able to capture a few photos, but here they are, hope to make it out for the full event next year!

Formula D Round 4: Vaughn Gitten Jr. VS. Ken Gushi

JDM RHD Nissan Skyline GTR at Detroit's Cars and Coffee

I had the pleasure of viewing an absolutely flawless piece of machinery a few weeks ago at Detroit's cars and coffee meet. It was an bayside blue Nissan Skyline GTR that is RHD. As you can tell from the pics its absolutely flawless and so clean. The car was imported by Motorex in 2002 before the R34 was removed from the non-compliant but eligible list published by the NHTSA in April of 2006. It was imported as a complete car by Motorex functioning as an RI. It is bond released and the paperwork from the NHTSA specifically calls out that current import law does not apply to in (referencing it by VIN), thus effectively grandfathering the car into the US even though they can no longer be legally imported. This makes this guy one lucky son of a gun.

Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. This has got to be one of my favorite cars and I could stare at it all day.

This is the current setup I have on my 2002 Subaru WRX Wagon. Currently it has a PPG Transmission with straight cut gears on 1 and 2 and then semi helical gears on 3 and 4. 5th gear is stock.
