JDM RHD Nissan Skyline GTR at Detroit's Cars and Coffee

I had the pleasure of viewing an absolutely flawless piece of machinery a few weeks ago at Detroit's cars and coffee meet. It was an bayside blue Nissan Skyline GTR that is RHD. As you can tell from the pics its absolutely flawless and so clean. The car was imported by Motorex in 2002 before the R34 was removed from the non-compliant but eligible list published by the NHTSA in April of 2006. It was imported as a complete car by Motorex functioning as an RI. It is bond released and the paperwork from the NHTSA specifically calls out that current import law does not apply to in (referencing it by VIN), thus effectively grandfathering the car into the US even though they can no longer be legally imported. This makes this guy one lucky son of a gun.
